So we took a trip into an eye specialist to have Joseph's tear ducts checked out because they had basically been blocked since he was born. I guess when they do this, they always check eye sight too. So they check it out and he is extremly far sighted and needs glasses pronto. Pretty crazy! I can't ever recall seeing glasses on a child younger than 2 ... let alone 10-11 month's! So we've had them for a couple weeks now and he does great. Had a few days of testing us with taking them off, but not really a bother at all now. He seems to focus more now on what he's doing and clapping and waving. He looks like a little gentleman.

I'm Due

I'm Due for a post, pics, update, etc. Will probably be more pics, but whatever.

Jacob and Joseph have really started to play together the last 2-3 weeks. Jacob brings him toys consistently, they wrestle (playfully for the most part), and chase each other around the house all day long. They really are becoming best buds. Joseph basically can't be in a room without his older brother for more than 5 minutes before he needs his Jacob time. It's pretty darn cute.

We took the boys to open gym where Megan used to work on Friday. Jacob basically ran around HARD for 30+ minutes. He's going to want to do that again.

Last Sunday I took Jacob to his first sporting event - Wolves vs Bulls. We won in overtime and Jacob did excellent for the game lasting an hour past his bed time. I think his favorite part was dancing during time outs. Big Al went for 39. Great first game. Here's the only pic I have from this

I'm pretty sure I saw 50 degrees yesterday. Man were we due for a day like that. Great to be able to get outside again ... we even grilled burgers for dinner. Fantastic.

Super Bowl today. I'm going Steelers 37 Cardinals 22. Hopefully it's a good game. Kind of blah leading up to it.

Can't remember if I posted this before, but basketball started again. Last week we improved to 4-0 and probably had our best win over the years. Solid W. I missed week 3 game with the flu, but am now starting to get back into shape. No more sickness, thanks.

I've been sick for about 6 days now with the Res.Flu. It has basically knocked me out to doing nothing all week. The wonderful thing is I took this week off of work. How confenient. We were going to paint the kitchen this week. Looks like that might not happen until the next week I have off .... maybe in a couple of weeks?

Other than that exciting news, here's a few tidbits from the Arnold's:

Winter b-ball has started up again. We've started 2-0 while playing pretty well going into last nights game. Feels really good to get back into the swing of things, although out of shape. I've started to workout again at Lifetime, but not on a good routine yet.

Had a small family get together for Jacob turning 2 a couple of weeks ago. He's doing great. A little too active, but great. Can't believe its been 2 years already.

I don't think i've posted this before, but we had to get Joseph fitted for a helmet that he wore for about 23hrs a day. While nothing was really wrong, he had a flat spot that needed to be fixed. He is all but off of it now and is looking better. Here's a pic from a couple months ago with it:

Nothing really else new with us. Would like to say congrats to the new parents out there of Erik and Kari with Piper, and Dave and Beth with Emmitt. Great news for both of you guys. Can't wait to see the new kiddies.

Joseph was a Blueberry like Jacob last year, and Jacob was a duck. He hated getting that costume on but we managed and he did great Trick or Treating.

November is here and can't believe the summer has come and gone. Managed to get up to the cabin once with the fam ... haven't done that in ages. Good times.

I'm searching for some pics from the summer and will post them as soon as I find them ... yeah, I actually plan on it.

So this whole blogging thing hasn't been exactly priority #1. Oops.

So, having 2 kids is awesome, but a lot different. It's a lot easier and harder at the same time. The little things are a heck of a lot easier after going through it once .... but man, does it get tough watching 2 vs 1. Both kids are great, but Jacob gets to be a handful when he's tired/parents aren't looking/time out #18 wasn't good enough. He's a great kid, but knows how to push buttons. Getting closer to 2 will do that to ya I guess. He is doing great ... talking a ton, runs everywhere, loves his brother, starting to help out more around the house, and over all, a good kid.

Joseph is doing great ... 90% in weight at last check up. Smiles, giggles, laughs ... all the good stuff .... just has acid reflux worse than Jacob. Big time trooper though .... no complaints.

As far as the Arnolds go .... Megan is staying home now with the boys and working part time at Lifetime, teaching a few classes. Staying at home has made things go a little smoother.

Myself, I really don't remember any past posts .... I basically have been working nonstop all summer. Haven't really done a heck of a lot. Made a trip up to Bemidji to visit my sis and her fam ... tried to get back into disc golf with only a couple outtings ... finished my patio (will need to have a party sometime soon) .... nothing really else - sad.

1st year stats

Jacob had his 1 year check-up this morning. He always does really well .... even with 3 shots and a finger prick. He likes to laugh at other kids and wave to random people. Someone likes attention.

Filling the stat sheet:
Weight: 20 lbs. 12 oz. - ~25%
Length: 29.25" - ~30%
Head Circumference: - 18.5" - ~70%

Quick summary:
Overall he is doing good. Excited to get the car seat facing forward. Will start to make life a little easier on Mom and Dad. He could walk, but decides that crawling as fast as possible is the most fun. He can stand by himself for about as long as he'd like. Took his first step towards Megan last night. Will go up any stairs if allowed. New favorite thing is to do a head stand and go to a direct stand right after. He enjoys the reaction he gets after doing so.

We had a small, family birthday party for him last weekend. He is a crowd pleaser and loved his birthday cake. I'll have to post some pics of the frosting covered face.

As for myself, not much is new. B-ball started last week and we lost to a team we should have beat by at least 10. Good to be playing again. I think everyone needs a couple weeks to get back into shape .... or maybe I should speak for myself.

Lets see, the Wolves are the worst team in the NBA, the Vikings blew a chance to make the playoffs, the Twins are going to trade the best pitcher in baseball .... money. I'm going to have to spend more time watching The Wild.

The Office needs to get back on the air. Reruns on TBS are nice, but lets get some new stuff. Pay the writers whatever they want.

Jacob had his first Santa experience on Friday. He seemed to enjoy it and pictures went great. We went to Northtown and there camera was broken down at the time so they just let people visit and take pictures for free. Works for us.

Thursday night we met the Lippold's and Rowles's downtown for the Holidazzle. We showed up late, so it was a quick experience .... but things went well considering the cold weather we've been getting. I'm sure Jacob will like this a little more next year. Good to see everyone though.

Not much else is new. Tonight will be the return of the mook. I'll try and get some pics of that. Maybe he'll look like that guy at Greg and Jennys wedding. Time will only tell ....

For those of you who know my sister, you know that she has been going through a long adoption process in Russia. They just went back for the second time after Thanksgiving and have been granted custody! Read more on there blog here. They should be back just before Christmas. Legally, they can't post pictures yet .... so I suppose I shouldn't either. Will post when we see them come back.

Food is good. Food was good. I'm still full.

Thanksgiving went over really well. We hosted for the first time and everything went smooth. Cleaning the house and getting everything ready was a little tough, but we had sucess. I believe it was something like 15 people for dinner was 3 more for pie. We have a lot of leftovers ... I'm good for lunch for the week. Drove down to Iowa for our nieces birthday overnight on Friday and back up Saturday night. Today was football and downtown for the Nutcracker exhibt at Macys and dinner. No parade. Got too late, but good times. All in all I'd say I good weekend. Good to see lots of family. I'm ready for some regularity. 5 day weekends rule though.

At the homefront not much is new. I thing everyone knows this, but if you don't .... Megan and I are expecting our second child at the beginning of April. Pretty crazy. Other than taking care of Jacob, I've basically been working on the patio that i've managed to get a lot done on ... however it looks like some of it will be completed in the spring. A party will have to happen upon completion.

Greg and Jenny recently tied the knot. Wedding was a blast. Good to see a lot of peeps I haven't seen in a long time. Who has the pic they took of everyone?

Bobby scored some pretty sweet wolves tickets that I was lucky enough to get in on. Sitting close to courtside is money ... even if the team stinks right now. Big Al looks like a player. They could be good in a few years if McHale doesn't screw things up. Other sports .... Torii is gone and that sucks big time, but everyone knew the Twins wouldn't spend that kind of money. He will be missed. Rebuilding era begins now. How did the Vikings beat the Giants today?

Seriously ... its a blur. I know I didn't post.

Anyway, I'm really good at this whole blogging thing. Maybe I'll get back to it this fall with things getting slower at work ... still staying busy though.

Updates: Jacob goes in for his 9 month visit next week. He changes everyday ... its insane. He can crawl everywhere basically ... not just to a toy. He helps mommy and daddy realize how much crap we have on the floor and need to move. Thanks Jacob. The cable cord coming out of the floor is the first to go. Enjoy while you can.

Jacob last came in at 17 pounds ... and thats all I can rememeber at his last checkup. (megan, help me on this) I think some lady just gave birth to a 17 pound baby in Serbia(?) ... Her 12th! Thats completly crazy. Jacob probably weighs more now, but not a lot. He has grown a ton though. He says mama and dada all the time and waves bye and hi randomly. He's become a real chatter box in the last week or two.

These picture aren't exactly new, but i'll throw some new ones as soon as we get them on our computer.

As far as myself ... nothing really new. Still staying busy at work. One good fantasy football, one bad. MN sports stink right now, so I won't even get into that.

I finally got some new disc golf discs, but have yet to use them. A few of you might hunt me down if I don't get out before the end of the year.

Will try and finally get a patio in before the end of the year. I guy was doing some work across the street from us and I notice that he had a bobcat on his trailor. I went over and asked if he'd come over and dig out my area that i'll hopefully get done this year. He knocked it out pretty quickly and for what it was, I got a pretty good deal out of it ... plus saving me a weekend plus of digging. Now to find time to work on it. We have a million other things we'd like to do ... upstairs bathroom this winter? We'll see.

I love the weather right now. I hope we get another month of this at least. Fall is the best season.

We had my brother in law (Josh) live with us this past month. He was interning at St Pauls Regens Hospital. His first day: showed up at 6-7am came home at midnight. Yikes! Probably his worst day, but everyday seemed that crazy for him ... so we basically never saw him. Crazy. Now he's off to Detroit for 4 months. Good Luck.

No new update on my sisters adoption process. Still a waiting game. Hope everything is going well Amy and Ryan you need to update me as well. Have I posted about this before? If not, I will.

I need to get better at this because I can't rememeber anything i've done in the last 3 months.

Long Time

So i've got some crap for not posting. We have internet at home now, so updates should be more frequent.

Jacob is a blast and gets bigger everyday. I'll post some updates from his last checkup (4 months). He is already 5 months old and changes constantly. "Da Da" will come soon I think ... along with a tooth. He's been doing good in his crib ... he decided he'd try sleeping on his stomach, which was hard to get used to, but he does great. Very active and happy baby.

Work has been crazy. Best month of May our store has done ... June off to slow start though. I guess people don't like working in 90 degree weather in mid June. I basically work, spend time with Jacob, and sleep. Occasionly Megan and I cross paths and say hi. Odd schedules, but the next couple months should be better.

This is turning into a boring post for never posting, so i'll include pics .....

So I haven't been good at posting. Could be I'm busy at work, or i'm busy being a Dad, or i'm lazy. Anyway, here's a post for March.

Since the last time I posted, we found out he had acid reflux. He didn't like that ... but he has since been on medication and is doing much better.
He had his 2 month check-up and was on the receiving end of a couple shots. Managed himself quite well. I'll have to post updated weights, heights, etc.
It's incredible how quickly he has grown and filled out. He still looks small to other babies around the same age, but considering how small he was when he was born, he looks like a chunker ...... at least to mom and dad. (I'll post pics soon)
Our b-ball team ended up going 5-5 on the year and lost the 3rd place game. Pretty good year ... better than the record.
March Madness has begun and ended for myself and Megan. My super sleeper Texas pick didn't work so well. Ended up leading after first weekend of games but apparently all the high seeds decided to do well this year. Weak.
Crazy nice weather gets me excited to dream about the patio I want to put in this year. Problem will be finding time.
Also excited for: showing Jacob what the outside of our house looks like, Disc golf, being able to run outside, misc. yard stuff, outside sports, and actually ...... work!

I'll try to keep up on this whole posting thing and throw in some pics of the little guy too.

Today is the first day above 20 that I can remember in a long time. I guess this is Minnesota. Just needed a little reminder. Noted mother nature, now back to the 40's ... thanks.

Jacob has been having some ups and downs, but overall doing pretty good. Couple cool pics from being 1 month old ....

My truck battery decided to die on me at about 10:30pm in Eagan (not exactly close to home) after baskeball. Todd was able to give me a ride home. Unsuccessful trip of trying to get it jumped with Erik, but able to get it towed to nearby Tires Plus. Lucky to only have a dead battery ( I guess), and a couple days later Mike was able to give me a ride after a trip to the boat show. Thanks to those that helped.

The Boat Show made me realize that I will never own a new boat. Cool to check out and watch Mike's son Peter run around, but I don't think that's exactly in our budget right now. Mike and I agreed that that purchase must be made by one of our friends.

Basketball has gone pretty well, although we have dropped our last 2. I've already missed 3 games, hopefully no more. We have a pretty solid squad, and for having no set offense, play good together. I think we are in the neighborhood of 4-2.

Just about done finishing up a relaxing week in South Dakota. Jacob gets to watch his first Super Bowl and is One Month old today! The pic is from a baby shower thrown by Megans sisters. They played a game of Deal or No Deal for Diapers ... max amount 1,000, came away with 365. Awesome!

Congrats to Mandy and Andy on there new baby boy Henry. Can't wait to meet the new frisbee star.

Overdue congrats to Jenny and Greg on there engagement. Another wedding sometime in mid January '08. Love it.

Jacob was born on January 4th at 5:39 pm. He weighed 6 pounds 1 ounce and was 18 3/4 inches long. We are both so happy and can't believe we had a boy. Megan managed to go through without any drugs .... amazing! She is doing very well and we are working on the whole resting thing.

The whole experience was pretty amazing. Most of the nurses were really good. We had a nurse named Beth who made the labor experience that much better. She made Megan and myself feel encouraged during the whole process.

The extremly super short version is that Megan's water broke at around 11:30 am in the tub. We arrived at the hospital close to noon. She had started having heavier contractions at around 3 am the night before .... so we knew we were getting close. Once we got to the hospital, things seemed to go very slow (the labor process), but time was flying by. Megan stayed dialated from 3 1/2 to 4 for most of the time and the next thing we knew she was at about 9. Soon enough she pushed hard 3 times, and we had a boy. Crazy!

I couldn't be more proud of both Megan and Jacob. It truly will be a day I will never forget.

Thanks for all the emails and calls many of you have been sending. We would love to have Jacob spend some time with all of you real soon.

Jacob continues to work on his eating and getting his weight up so he can play all kind of sports with dad and chase after the ladies.

My Cub Foods Trip

So I'm at this new Cub Foods near my house about a week or so ago. I'm just getting a few things on a Sunday .... the Vikings lost, amazing. Anyway, I'm about halfway done getting stuff and there's a bunch of people yelling at the front of the store. So, naturally, I check it out. I see some dude running out with something and a bunch of Cub employee's running after him. A couple minutes later, the same employees come back inside huffin and puffin. I hear some kid say he got away in a car but they got the plates. I tried to hear what other people had to say about it but nothing else seemed to come of it ... so I continue on with my shopping and head home.

So I get home and Megan asks if I got the stamps (which I asked for) but the checkout dude forgot to get for me. So i'm pissed that I have to drive back for some frickin stamps that cost way to much.

So I go back to the kid who forgot and he felt like an idiot so I cut him some slack. He asks me "Were you here when all that stuff went on?" "Maybe thats why I forgot." ... I say no but it happened just before that. So I ask if they caught the guy, and he says not yet, but the guy who ran off, was with a pregnant lady and she's going into labor now ...... holy crap! This dude runs off when he's with someone (hopefully not his wife), steals something and takes off, and then she goes into labor. That dude deserves an ass whoopin.

End of story. Not much, but nothing else is really new. Hopefully we have a baby soon.

A bunch of my family were guessing what we were going to have and when over the holiday. I say girl on January 4th. Post your guess.

At least at posting and fantasy football. Anywho, been a long time since i've posted so i'll to throw out some updates.

Baby time is coming quick. We both are getting really excited, anxious, and i'm sure the nerves will kick in soon. Megan had a couple showers a few weekends ago and we got a lot of cool stuff. The room is ready for baby Arnold. We both still think it will be a girl but really have no clue. 1 month away!
Last weekend was real low key. Saturday night was spent in Uptown for Andy/Erin b-day fun times. Had dinner/drinks at The Independent. Not bad, little spendy, but pretty good. The bathroom's are basically shared there. One door for both mens and womens. Pretty weird. Andy even got yelled at by some chick in the bathroom. After that we went to some other bar (forget the name), had a drink and went home. Good to see some peeps I haven't seen in a while. Sunday night was watch the Vikings stink it up again, along with my fantasy teams, and then went to my works Christmas party. Good food, ok time. Not bad considering I guess.
Figured I should actually use my Lifetime membership, so i've been working out for a couple weeks. Feels good to get back into it. Running is hard. Trying to get ready for b-ball too.
Work has been slow, but not as bad as it usually would be this time of year.
We got our Christmas tree up a few days after Thanksgiving. Looks good. We go cut one down from my Uncles tree farm every year. Nice tradition but sucks that it is about a 45 minute drive one way. Still worth it. Even added some lights outside this year. Not quite Clark Griswold, but better than I expected.
TV list year is pretty much the same. ER, Lost, The Office, and soon to be 24. Only real new show is Studio 60. A lot better than expected. Friday Night Lights is pretty good but don't always catch it. 1 vs 100 is a lot better than Deal or No Deal.

Megan is already 6 month's pregnant .... Crazy! We had an ultrasound about a month ago ... pretty much the coolest thing ever. We aren't finding out the sex ... so registering was a little tough.

Nice segway Scott ... we just registered today ... for like 3+ hrs .... and doesn't even seem like we are close to done. Luckily we have sisters who have had babies ... hand-me-downs rock!

Twins rock(but not tonight)

Vikings always do what they aren't supposed to do ... so who knows this week. I'm predicting 2-0 to set up next week for first place against Chicago.

Won 1 lost 1 in fantasy this last week .... result should have been different in both leagues. Screw you JP ... thanks Bobby.

Played some disc golf couple weeks ago since probably college. Had some good times on a tough course in East Bethel. Will have to make more time for this in the future.

I gots nothing else ... will try and post more in the future.

Ummmmm yeah, I suck at posting during the summer. I'm sure all 3 of you gave up on this site. Anyway, here's an update:

So basically everyone know's this, but Megan and I are having a baby ... due January 5th. We are pretty excited.
Looks like we beat Andy and Mandy by about a month. Congrats to you both.
DK and Beth get set to tie the knot in less than a month. Probably the first wedding that I actually responded to on time. You guys should feel pretty special.
I've been working a ton. Nothing new here .... just sick of the heat ..... and seriously! Rain!
I've golfed once all summer. This is not right.
I actually like the Mike James signing .... not sure why. We have a ton of point guards. Better be another trade in the works.
I need to get to a Twins game. I read somewhere that they might be interested in Cabreara from Florida. Do that trade now!

I sure don't have much to say for not posting this summer. Hopefully i'll keep up with it.

Been hard to post lately. Lot of stuff going on at work. Not much new here. Couple things:

Good chance we will be doing some sort of BBQ next weekend (5th?). Probably set up the volleyball net, play some Bocce ball .... whatever. I'll keep people posted if interested.

I forgot about Ulty regionals this weekend. Stuck working.

After reading other people's blogs, I want to go play disc golf NOW! Especially riverside in st cloud with a 40.

I really have no time to update this blog. So this thing might go in the crapper this summer.

Twins are starting. Sweet. Nothing better than have a brew with the grill going listening to the ball game on the radio ... i mean seriously .... awesome.

Final Four sucked ... except the part where Megan won the pool. Nice.

I once again suck at poker. I'm not sure why I continue to go and give my money away. Actually, it is pretty fun ... just not the losing of the money.

I miss basketball. I think I gained 10 pounds since it ended 2 weeks ago.

I managed to get 3rd from the bottom in my NCAA pool. Another great year. Megan has a great shot at 1st. Maybe she can run my fantasy football team next year too. I do, however, dominate at free fantasy basketball.

Work has continued to pick up. Been awhile since I have had a whole day staying busy. I'll be complaining by the end of April for sure.

Twins season starts in less than a week. Anyone going to the Home Opener?

I'm pumped to start working on the yard again ... and BBQ's. I should throw a 1st BBQ of the year party. This needs to happen soon.

So we don't get snow all winter ... then about 1.5' in a couple days. Sweet. Oh well, should be gone in a week or so.

Did ok in my picks so far. Pitt and Ohio St. are my money picks. Final Four please, thanks. Of course Megan is doing better than me. She had Montana and Bradley ... which was probably better than you.

Finished b-ball at 6-4. Not bad. One more playoff game and we're done.

Things are starting to pick up at work. It has been super slow, so this is good.

B-day weekend

Had myself a pretty relaxing weekend. Brett came back from California so we went out to the Irish Pub in Maple Grove with a bunch of peeps. Good to just hang and have some pretty good food and beers. Sunday I turned the big 28. Wow is that exciting. Seriously .... when do birthdays start to seem like a big deal again? That being said, I had a great day. Breakfast in bed with the Sunday paper from the wife (nothing better) .... watching tons of college basketball .... treated to a wonderful home cooked meal ... and watching the puckett memorial to top it off for a great lazy sunday.

So I don't post that much any more. Seems like everyone hits that slow time. Anyway here's some stuff.

Worked the St Paul Home Show last weekend. Pretty boring. It tends to get worse every year. Minneapolis is next weekend. That one is usually better.
Worked a Blaine show today. Local shows tend to be better ... dealing with customers you are more likely to have business with.
Movie watching - Crash, last night - good flick ... one of the better movies i've seen in awhile - March of the Penquins - I have no idea why I watched this movie ... i guess it got great reviews, but seriously, penquins? .... but it wasn't that bad - Flight Plan - Just Ok
No trade by the Wloves is probably a good thing .... we still get to keep KG ... at least for a while .... should we trade him? ... I hope not
I've been getting into the Olympics .... but ready for The Office to get back on

A couple weeks ago, Megan and I went to Mad Jack's ... the place that replaced Benchwarmer Bob's in BP. I was kind of crabby when that place closed ... mostly because of no more mound-o-nachos. But they've really improved the place. Cool new sports bar. TV's at every booth and pretty good food. Better than expected.

Got together with some St Cloud alumni for an ultimate frisbee tournament. Some Highlights:

Hitting up MC's and the Red Carpet again. Classic.
Going 4-0 on Saturday. Beating the St Cloud college team 8-7(?) (They should have dominated us)
The new dome is money. So much better than the field house. They have the same field turf that is in the Metrodome. Still managed to knock me out on Sunday. I am so weak.
Seeing the new frisbee house. Makes our old house look like we had a cleaning lady. Snap.
Getting a couple of D's. The last one knocked me out, but was nice to get a few. I am nothing even close to what I used to be.
St Cloud college team brought home the trophy. Waz yeah
Free tacos/nachos at MC's Friday and Saturday nights. So much better than cities happy hours.

Went to the Wolves game last night. First game all year and a good one to see. Not just for the whole wally's back in town, but the Boston boys were unbelievable. I hope Boston had the same feelings about Marcus Banks as they did for Billups. This kid looks like he could be a player ... but lets see more than a game. However, its time to move either T-hud or Jaric .... preferably Hudson. While the 87 hugs Wally got last night got old, it was nice to see KG give some love and Casey too .... Wally and Jaric gave each other a I-haven't-seen-you-in-7-years-and-we're-lovers hug .... weird moment. And when was the last time KG didn't have to play a 4th quarter? Money. The crown was into it most of the game. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

The timberwolves are really pissing me off. Seriously! How do you blow that game? Up 19 with 2 minutes left in the 3rd? Make a trade already! This team is going nowhere fast. If they don't get some help soon, I could see KG wanting out .... and if that happens, good luck getting the lower bowl of the Target Center to fill up. That being said, I wouldn't mind seeing the game on Tuesday against Flip.

I guess if the gophers are going to have a terrible year, this is the year. The big-10 is stacked. I think Monson is done. At least they aren't Wisconsin. Seriously, NDSU?!? I think Erik could have played for them when he went there.

Boring football games this weekend. Hopefully the Super Bowl is better. I'm calling Steelers 31 Seahawks 20.

Kobe goes for 81, and while still amazing, I still hate him.

Played in a free poker tournament at Blondies on Saturday with Greg. Got knocked out in the first hour. I suck at poker.

Weekend was nothing crazy, but relaxing ....

Started painting our living room. Hopefully finish sometime this week.
Watched all the football playoff games. The Pitt/Indy game was by far the best. Crazy 4th quarter.
Still trying to get in shape for b-ball. Been lifting more than running at the club. Need to change that up.
My first Ultimate Frisbee tournament in who know how long coming up in a few weeks. A bunch of alumni guys getting together in st cloud ... however some guys are hurt or can't play ... we need help.
24 started last night and continues tonight. I really get into this show for whatever reason.
Not much to do at work today .... internet watching of the T-wolves at noon should kill some time.

So we've gone 2-0 so far in hoops. Not bad. I get the feeling that there will be better teams though. Managed to beat a bunch of old dudes by 4 .... and they didn't have a sub. Our team should be pretty good once people get in shape and get used to teammates and stuff.

So there is a new Bachelor on now. Yuck. I hate this show with a passion. Everyone is completly fake. Megan likes it and i'll watch for about 2 minutes and start making fun of everybody. That's about all I can take.

New Years weekend was relaxing. Decided to test out our fondue on New Years Eve. Worked good. I liked it, but I wouldn't recommend doing it if you are really hungry. Will take a long time to fill ya up .... Rest of night filled with movie watching and game playing. Pretty low-key, but neither one of us felt like going out.
Managed to work out 4 out of the last 5 days ... mostly b-ball, but yeah, i pumped a little iron!
The Northwest that Megan teaches a couple classes at in Maple Grove switched over to a Lifetime. Great since I am a Lifetime member. NOT great since it will become a Lifetime "sport" membership(i don't have)-which you basically have to pay $10 extra a month. No chance. I asked what the difference was and some lady said a lot of the "sport memberships" have rock climing and discounts for golf etc. Maple Grove doesn't have rock climing. Poop on that. I guess i'll be going to Champlin. Cry me a river.
Mike and Jenny get grandfathered in because they joined at the Plymouth Lifetime. I joined at the Coon Rapids Lifetime. No Dice!
First B-ball game tonight. I'm pumped.
Did anyone else see Dick Clark on New Years? I think he should have waited another year .... or retire.

The last 2 movies I have seen in the theatre have been Harry Potter and Narnia. Apparently i'm 8. Both were ok movies. I think the next movie needs to be action.

DVD has been better. 40 year old virgin and Cinderella Man. Both great ... must see.

Have you checked out the Mcdonalds Red Box? Rent for a buck. Great deal. Hope it sticks around.

The mail man just told me to have a great New Years and I'll see ya next year! I hate that saying.

Christmas update

So now that you know that I have a blog, here's an update on me ...

Christmas was a lot of fun. Got to spend a lot of time with both family's. The only thing that stinks is the driving .... 5 hours from here to south dakota. At least Megan and I had some time off where we could space out the days
Our christmas party seemed to go over well. $10 gift opening was a lot of fun ... highlights: Huge Chocolate Santa, Rob getting the Puppy calender, Mike winning $16 on lottery tickets ...... I received handy gadget that has a knife, bottle opener, corkscrew along with a wine bottle/liquor topper thingy .... oh, and both were inside of jello. Nice Office prank Mike.
I haven't been to a T-wolves game yet. Should I?
Worst year in Fantasy Football ever. Losing Deuce, and McNabb didn't help. Ok, i'm done crying.
Having a house is great, but the work never stops. If you like to paint, give me a call.
