Update on nothing

Not sure why I post when nothing is new, but oh well.

I managed to get 3rd from the bottom in my NCAA pool. Another great year. Megan has a great shot at 1st. Maybe she can run my fantasy football team next year too. I do, however, dominate at free fantasy basketball.

Work has continued to pick up. Been awhile since I have had a whole day staying busy. I'll be complaining by the end of April for sure.

Twins season starts in less than a week. Anyone going to the Home Opener?

I'm pumped to start working on the yard again ... and BBQ's. I should throw a 1st BBQ of the year party. This needs to happen soon.

So I open up espn.com and thats the first thing I see. I laughed out loud. I mean seriously .... pick a better picture than that for one of the so-called colleges best players. I feel bad for the kid, but seriously, get a hair cut and shave that ugly crap under your nose. I have now lost 3 of my final 4. At least someone in the household has all of there final four teams ..... barely. And if you haven't got a call from Travis letting you know about his picks yet, you will.

Madness of March

So we don't get snow all winter ... then about 1.5' in a couple days. Sweet. Oh well, should be gone in a week or so.

Did ok in my picks so far. Pitt and Ohio St. are my money picks. Final Four please, thanks. Of course Megan is doing better than me. She had Montana and Bradley ... which was probably better than you.

Finished b-ball at 6-4. Not bad. One more playoff game and we're done.

Things are starting to pick up at work. It has been super slow, so this is good.

B-day weekend

Had myself a pretty relaxing weekend. Brett came back from California so we went out to the Irish Pub in Maple Grove with a bunch of peeps. Good to just hang and have some pretty good food and beers. Sunday I turned the big 28. Wow is that exciting. Seriously .... when do birthdays start to seem like a big deal again? That being said, I had a great day. Breakfast in bed with the Sunday paper from the wife (nothing better) .... watching tons of college basketball .... treated to a wonderful home cooked meal ... and watching the puckett memorial to top it off for a great lazy sunday.

The Timberwolves are sooooooooooooooooo awesome ... it's amazing!

Almost as good as the b-ball team i'm on. Started out 5-1 ... now 5-4. Money.

NCAA tourney time. Best sporting event. I'm sure i'll do really good in my picks.
